Could one shift the resonance for use on other bands using
a source of switched inductance at the base or perhaps
switched or variable capacitance?
Before there were screwdrivers, hams simply shorted out part of
the coil to reduce the inductance for the higher frequencies. The
Texas Bugcatcher guy sold a jumper accessory kit.
