What is the probable result of strapping the booms
of a pair of 2/440 combo beam antennas together with
one set of 2/440 elements on the vertical plain and
one horizontal?

On first blush I am thinking very little impact on
impedence or pattern as the elements are at right
angles to one another and I have seen commercial
beams that utilized crossed elements.

It would simplify testing and if it worked well I
could drill one boom and move the elements to a
shared boom.

WDYT?
