Back a month or two ago when the depth of the snow in upper N.Y. state was 8
feet and higher, I asked a number of broadcasters if that posed a problem
for their antennas. The response was no, that snow didn't matter. It's
true that ice is a poor conductor. since snow is mostly air (the powdery
kind at least) and frozen water it seemed to make sense. So for what that's
worth....
