Rick, Take a look at a place called INSPEED and www.inspeed.com. I think you'll like what you see there. Mine has held up real well for a year so far. Don't have anything to compare it too, but from what I know of judging windspeed as a weather spotter, it's definitely accurate enough for your purposes. Hope they can fill your need.
