I got all my tower rope from ebay suppliers.
For example check this auction number

I think I bought a spool of 900 ft of 1/2 inch basic twisted nylon rope.
I cut it into two 250 ft pieces for ginpole and tag line and three equal
lengths for temporary guys.
Don't use hemp rope as it is nasty on the hands.
