I've never had more than one antenna on a mast, but I still don't like
taping to the mast because it makes the loop small. Why not tape the
upper antenna's coax to the boom of the lower antenna and loop the two
coaxes together? 

Like I say I've never done this so I may be missing something obvious,
but coax should not be bent with a small radius and that's what I
would try to avoid.
