I am planning to bring coax and CAT5 wire into the house, from the
tower, by stringing a piece of guy wire from the 15' level, over to a
support on the house, then bundling the cables to the wire, just as
telephone and cable systems do from poles to the house.

Any advantages, disadvantages, considerations to this, besides lightning
protection? RF cables will have shields grounded to the tower where they
break away from it, and polyphasers attached where they enter the house.

Thanks,
