The MonstIR is 3 full-sized elements on 40M on a 34' boom. 34' is WAY too
long for a two element 40M beam. M2 uses a 19'7" boom for their 2 element
beam and 29'7" for their three element beam. Force 12 uses 18 to 24' booms
for their 2 element beams and 35'7" for their three element beam. You could
certainly build a 3 element wide-spaced beam on a 42-48' boom if you wanted
another 2/3 db gain, but the MonstIR boom length is on par with the other
commercial 3 element yagis. And it is full-sized.
