I used a set of coax standoff arms for my 89' crankup. I have an RG-8 sized
feedline for each of 6 antennas plus a rotator cable and a control cable for
an 80 meter switch box. I taped the cable bundle together about every two
feet and gave it a slight twist so that it drops nicely into a large circle.
I don't raise or lower the tower without being right there, so I guide the
coax bundle into a large circle as the tower is retracting. I've seen an
installation where the coax sort of wound itself around a large inverted
washtub, and still another friend uses a large pool net to hold coax as the
tower drops.

Since I started erecting my tower I have requested advice from this group
and received excellent guidance. Now the tower is up and I need advice on
how to rout the coax on a crack Up Tower. When lowering the tower what is
the neatest and safest way to route the coax so that when extending the
tower the coax will easily "unwind" again. I am hoping for some good ideas
as I could not come up with a single one - hi!
I will have about 4 coax cables coming down the tower.
