    Are you asking about its suitability? You need to  take your local 
windspeed conditions into account. If you don't know, check  out

Then you need to know what the windload capacity  of the SSV at that 
windspeed is. Then you'll know how suitable it is. You  might get away with 5 
sq.ft. 
but ten square feet is a moderately large load.  I'd err on the conservative 
side of things if I were you.
