One equalization plate really doesn't serve as a 3-way equalizer.  It 
becomes a 2-way equalizer with a third connection point.  With two lines 
the equalizing plate would take care of it with 800# on the pull being 
divided between the two lines. Both would have the same tension so only 
one would need the Loos gage.  I'm not sure now to divide three lines on 
an equalizer. 4 are almost as easy as two.
