WHOA, fellas, I'm only talking about using the '577 guys as temporary guys -
one should NEVER think of using anything substandard for a permanent
installation. That would, indeed, be asking for disaster in a very real and
legally binding sense. My thinking is that the '577 steel guys are as good
as or better than almost any rope guy I could use in a temporary
application. The permanent guys will be 1/4" EHS and will be installed as
indicated by Rohn, on the way up. Being 25G, I will secure every rising
section with the temporary guys, rather than climbing above the guys.
