In the shop I have a satellite receiver sitting above the PS for my Icom
756 Pro. which is immediately to the left of the rig. I use the S-video
from that receiver into a quad core AMD just to the left of the PS.
There are three CAT 6 cables for a Gigabit network into a patch panel
behind the PS. So far there is no problem on any band 1.8 through 440
MHz. Currently the two main bands I operate are 40 and 6-meters.
In the house I am running the component leads into an S-video converter
into the computer right beside this one. So far, no problems with that
one either. The satellite receivers are a DISH HD receiver in the house
and an SD receiver in the shop, both connect to the dish on the tower
with the RG-6 running in the same conduit as the LMR-600.
So, now I'm going to have to cross my fingers and hope nothing goes
wrong with this setup. <:-))
