Rocky, the major effect is the guy system uses up more real estate than  
normal guying schemes. The forces on the guy wires will be somewhat less and  
that could be a good thing.

23' height roof.  We installed guyed wires at the 40'  height section of the
pipe. The distance to the three anchors is 60' out  from the base of the
stack.  This makes the angle flatter  than  what I normally see.  My
question is," what are the effects of this  flatter angle?"
