On the subject of antenna analyzers- I thought I would share my experience.
I have owned the AEA, MFJ259 and 259B, Autek RF-1 and the Timewave. All had 
shortcomings  anywhere from inaccuracy to eating batteries.
I bought the RigExpert AA-200A a couple of years back and have never looked 
back.

In addition to a synthesized source, it is a true vector instrument. 
Extremely easy to use, allows for simulating different shunt capacity of 
connectors, reads in graphical and tabular format and best of all is firm 
ware upgradeable. Charges of the internal batteries seem to last forever, it 
weighs perhaps 1/4th of the MFJ meters and also allows for archiving results 
in the field and subsequent downloading to your computer via USB. I don't 
see anything close to it for the price except perhaps ther AIM device- but 
it needs a PC to run it. Once you use a vector instrument- you'll never go 
back:
