This is exactly how I operate the Orion II on 160 through 40 meters...
I have read that it can't be done because the fairy dust isn't the same in the
two receivers, etc...
But, it works just like gangbusters...
In fact most of the complaints against either radio of "you can't do this", or
" it does that", I cannot see, or hear, or even comprehend...
Must be the density in my skull...
The Orion is a world class radio...
The K3 is a world class radio....
