Look up the article from ARRL QST, Sept 1979, Pg 37, (A Simple Technique 
For Tower -Section Separation),  Article available on their website. I 
built the jack plates illustrated, years ago, a tight tower section is a 
piece of cake with this.  Any local welder can fabricate the plates for 
you if need be. Good luck.
