There can be a lot of voltage drop in 250' of wire so you want to be sure 
that it is adequately sized to avoid problems.   For long runs, I typically 
use house wire for the motor leads and a separate small multi-conductor 
cable for the sensor.

Sorry for the extra bandwidth I forgot to include this with my feedline
question...

I will be turning the PRO57B with a Tailtwister , and am wondering what size
rotor cable I should use , the run from the shack to the rotor is about 250' 
,
Texas Towers has several to choose from , my guess is that I need one of the
two
larger sizes.

they list these two larger ones on their website:

R83, (2-#14, 6-#18)
R84, (2-#12, 6-#16)

thoughts/experiences ?
