I'm planning to do something like this.

I plan only one thrust bearing, at the top, but I plan a second rotator
plate (I'm ordering from Custom Metalworks), with a hole slightly larger
than the mast, mounted about a foot above the "real" rotator plate. This
gives me something to clamp the mast to so that I can remove the rotator for
service. I have to get the hole is just large enough to clear the mast, but
indeed completely clear the mast in normal use.

I suspect that getting two thrust bearings to line up exactly might be a
difficult task.

I am using Rohn 45 and want to put a second thrust bearing between the
rotator and mast. The bearing plate p/n BPL45G can only be mounted at the
top. Is there any way of putting a second bearing plate between the rotator
and the the top baring plate?

Thanks in advance!
