Got it to work guys.  You were all right on target about testing the rotor
and control box from the ground.

Pins 4 and 5 are the magic ones.  I have power from the control box and I
was able to turn the rotor with a drill powerpack.

Now I just have to fix the long run of cable.....  The fun never stops!
