I took the RCS-4 apart - blew out the dust - saw no irregularities -
re-installed and no longer have the lack of isolation problems I had - no
clue what I did. I guess the thing needs attention from time to time -
still considering a better switch.

As a side note I removed the RCS-4 this morning and jumpered the LPDA and
took it apart. It is an OLD Ameritron unit and has only 2 DPDT relays in
it. It is not like the newer MFJ units which have three SPDT relays. Does
anyone have a copy of the manual or a schematic for this unit?
