Philystran for the tie offs seems like overkill.  A bit of angle in the 
dipole is no big deal.  Buy some double braided dacron rope from HRO.  
It is made by Synthetic Textiles in many sizes.  UV proof and strong.

I use the Philystran for the stays on the mast and convert to steel or 
wire at the bottom to prevent a failure from grass fire, vandalism. etc.

Inverted V's work fine.  I would not be overly concerned about the angle 
of the ends.
