I've got approximately 150 feet of 6 conductor used control cable for sale.It
is suitable for use on towers, marine craft or direct burial applications.
Now why would anyone be interested in used control cable? Well, this iscable
designed for the offshore industry to pull sounding or detecting gear.The
jacket is unmercifully tough UV resistant, water proof and Kevlar clad.There
are four (4) 16 gauge and two (2) 18 gauge copper lines, coated with a
waterproof sealant with a single poly-propylene wrap on the inside.The color is
Yellow; approximate diameter of .5" (1/2").
It was truncated off a longer line and too short for re-use in its
originalapplication. The cable is in excellent condition. It has some strain
bumpscaused by rapid release of tension but these do not affect its use or
conductancethroughput.
The original cost of this kind of cable runs between $6 and $12 per foot
depending on length purchased. I'm asking $1 per foot and will confirm actual
