Can help you here.

40 ft. Rohn 25 tower, custom tilt base, guy ropes from Mastrant, all anchors
are just 3/4 inch diameter steel rods pounded into the ground.  The base takes
four 24 inch rods to just keep the base from moving.  Quite simple, and uses a
basic boat winch to crank it up.  An article will be coming out shortly that
describes the whole system.

The Tower system supports a couple of inverted vees (80 and 40 M) and the Cycle
24 TX-38 tribander that works fantastic!  Turned by a Yaesu G450 rotor.

Since you may be local to New England, the heart of the WRTC 2014 event, you
and your radio club may be eligible to get a discount on the purchase of the
entire system if you volunteer to help during the event.

Mark, K1RX

Director, Antenna and Tower Infrastructure

Thinking of a "temporary" 35ft 25G Setup w/A4S on top similar to what
they are doing for the 2014 temporary team stations.
How are they installing the towers? Actually pouring foundations?
Putting a 10ft section in a 5ft hole and digging it out afterwards?
How are they installing the guys?  Any info would be appreciated.
