You could put the insulated guys up the 'stinger' about 15 feet above the tower 
top. That should work.

Often, this does not work. Let's say that the stinger is guyed half-way up (22'). The wind blows, the upper part of the stinger deflects. The guys act as a fulcrum, causing deflection in the bottom 22' of the stinger. Combined with the downward force of the guys, the bottom 22' exceeds its yield strength and folds.
