Why not use two Dow Key type relays each SPST. They come in several DC voltages and 115 VAC. They will handle the 1500 watts, have low SWR, all you need is power source and a SPDT toggle switch. Dow key type relays sell for about $30 used last I looked, kind of old school but will sure do the job. You would probably want to parallel up another signal relay to switch ALC and key line as well so relays look like a good solution. 73 Ron W8RJL

Does anyone know of a source for a reasonably priced manual RF transfer switch, i.e. DPDT with either UHF or N connectors? Reasonable = < $100. Needs to handle 1500 watts @ HF.

I want to switch 2 amplifiers (solid state & tube) between 1 radio and 1 antenna system. Yes, I can use 2 SPDT switches, and will do if a DPDT is not readily available. Google turns up a lot of relays that seem designed for microwave use and broadcast quality items with one too many zeros in the price.
