I'm getting ready to mount my beam atop my AB621. My location is the
highest for a couple of miles around the trees here are often hit by
lightning.
I'm planning to ground my coax at the top and bottom of my tower and of
course bond it at the utility entrance on the way to the shack.
Am I correct that the common mode choke should go between the top-of-tower
ground and the rotor loop on the way to the beam? To do otherwise would
seem to just short it out.
