If he does not want it and it is nearly free I'll take it!

Well, the prompting question (Subject = RG-149) was posted on Dec 12 by
VE3YF.

He wanted to know about RG-149.

My comment questioned whether or not 50/75 Z line even mattered.

After lots of great discussions, I think it's time for a practical answer,
based on what has
been posted and what is available on the web.

Take a look at VE3YF's home page. His "schematic" shows that he is running a
pair of AL80Bs
(or his classic station utilizes an SB200 amp).

These are tube amps and as such, again from the discussion, should be able to
match any
mismatch caused by using 75 ohm coax.

Since he can secure the coax for (nearly?) free, I say, GO FOR IT. Anyone
disagree?
