I designed many yagis with YO that had an impedance around 30-35 ohms. A
2:1 balun would make it a perfect match with 70 ohm coax. I wonder of
VE3YF has made a decision on whether to get the nearly free RG-149?

Jim,

My comment was intended to indicate that YAGI antennas can easily be
modified to 75 ohm feed impedance. Way ahead of you on wire antennas and
verticals (We Bearcats have to stick together!)
