Hi Jim,

Do you have any experience or knowledge you can share about how well the
shielding performs or compares at HF for double & triple shielded RG-6 &
RG-11 cables?   These (Commscope brand) ) have 1 (DS) and 2 (TS) layers of
~7 mil foil tape with either 60% or 77% coverage braid.   Do the layers of
foil make up for the lower braid density?

shields, so their transfer impedance is high. The higher the transfer
impedance, the greater the transfer of noise. Another factor increasing
transfer impedance is poor uniformity of the shield.
