My Cal-AV 2 el 40 was installed in 2003 by N5YA, and when
raised to 72 Feet (pic at www.mxg.com lower left corner)
he was pissed that it clobbered his stack of two 2-el somethings!
It's neither short nor light, but a real winner IMO.
Unfortunately, once I actually calculated the wind survival of
my pair of antennas on that crank-up tower, it'll never again be
raised to 72 feet.

Probably the best (IMHO) 2 element 40 is the one by Cal AV.
Unlike everything else on the market, both elements are driven. It is kind of
like a ZL special. Big performance advantage for a little more complexity.
