These are very quiet. Even standing under the blades there is very little noise that can only be heard for a short distance. I still own a farm over there, but rent it out. It's about a half mile to the nearest tower and there is no audible sound from the tower at that distance.

This is FLAT land across any mile you may only find a few feet in variation.

Drop an email to Bill, N6BM. He lived here in Livermore among the Altamont 
windmills, and may have comments about RFI. He certainly noted the noise 
(acoustic), which can be annoying for quite some distance. I can vouch for that.
