no experience with the 1/12 matching thing... I just use 75 ohm stuff as-is, no 
cutting to half wave multiples or any other matching, just slap on a connector 
and go for it!  ALL my hardline from the shack to the towers is 75 ohm except 
for the one piece I bought after I couldn't find any more tv cable leftovers.

I especially like the 1/12 wavelength method for a 50/75 match. Anyone with 
experience with this/
