In years past, I’ve had too many beams with worm-gear clamps have their element 
lengths changed when trying to slide them past guy wires or tree limbs.  I put 
a small stainless sheet metal screw through every junction that is relying 
solely on a hose clamp.  I figure it’s either that or rent a helicopter.
