Gary forgot to mention, or was too modest to mention, that in doing his tests
he discovered a bug in EZNEC v6. He had his antenna-only model already open in
EZNEC and he had his guy wires defined in a separate text file. When he did
Wires > Other > Import Wires from ASCII File > Add to Existing Wires (to add
his guy wires to the model) the results looked crazy. They were.
That bug was fixed in the recent EZNEC v. 6.0.7 maintenance update. Details

If you have EZNEC v. 6.0 you might want to get that update, here:

The bug is not present in EZNEC v. 5.0 or earlier versions.
