It really does not take much time and material to put up a Beverage antenna.
I put up temporary ones before certain contests and it only takes a few
hours to set them up. Mine are by no means an ideal installation, but they
work better than my TX antennas. The transformers are inexpensive, resistors
are really cheap and you can use old coax or surplus 75 ohm cable. Try one!

I think maybe I need to study Beverage antennas significantly more before
committing much time and material to any "large scale" experimentation. If a
shielded magnetic loop would do nearly as well it might be a better choice
for the next experiment after the two in process tower projects.
