Not on my 45G around 2001
It had the two nuts with the top one being of the stamped spring type
used on "ALL" nuts. Tower junction, guy anchor saddles...every nut.
I've had 25Gs with heavy galvanization that made them tough to seat, but
no staking as I remember.
