A year ago a cell provider (not sure which one) constructed a short tower
(maybe 60 feet tall) on the route I take to work each day. Since then I've
noted that on one 2M repeater output freq I hear what sounds like a timing
signal - periodic pulses of maybe 5 per second - as I drive past one of the
three tower faces, and another 2M repeater is interfered with in the same
way as I driver by another face. The signal dies out and lets my mobile
radio's squelch close after I've driven about 200 yards past the tower.
FWIW.

The cell tower on the property at N6RO has a battery charger that they
confirmed is a switcher. Generates a nice bunch of hash on 80 and 160. They
refuse to fix it.
