What he's calling GRC is usually schedule 40 galvanized (either hot dipped or electro-galvanized as you find in electrical supply stores).

The IMC is a thinner walled but stronger material that fencing supply places have been touting and selling for their top rail material. It's very good - we use it routinely on commercial sites when hot dipped galvanizing is not specifically specified :-) It's less expensive, so...why not?
