?I have never had a direct fed Inverted L with an SWR that good or that
broadbanded. I would be concerned.?

I would agree with John. Sounds like either some tower interaction ? which
could be positive to gain and bandwidth or lossy ground.
Here in Central Vermont ? on top of granite ? we have very lossy ground. It
hurts the efficiency of the vertical but it does help flatten out the
bandwidth. My 160 verticals have 42 ¼ wave radials on the ground but the
near field loss is a big factor.
