My Yaesu G-2800 rotators came with a boot attached to the cable. After
tightening the connector I slipped the boot on and then applied silicone
sealant around the boot, rotator and cable. I had two of these rotators at
my P40A station and had no issues.

How does one weatherproof the connector going into the Yaesu G1000DXA rotor?
It
has a boot covering for the connector, but no obviously good place to apply
covering to protect both the cable, connector and boot.
Suggestions?

A big thanks to the list, especially Steve (and his great book), for the
help I
have used to install my new crankup.
Now to get the antenna on the mast and things working - which means 50% of
the
work is left!
