We get scorpions too, by the bunches. I was filing a quart jar with dead
ones from inside our sun porch and house but my wife declared them gross
and put them in the trash.
CYPERMETHRIN a close cousin of permethrin which is used to treat the
cloth that BDUs (fatigues, cammies) are made from.
Cypermethrin is T H E chemical of choice for Scorpions. In the
house, scorpions hunt at night mostly and hide out in the daylight.
Under the baseboards of walls is a favorite hide out during the day (and
other places as you mentioned.)
I get cypermethrin as a wetable powder and apply it with a pump-up
sprayer. I shoot it under the baseboards and across thresholds/under
doors. Scorpions come in and then when it gets light they hide under
the baseboards in the cypermethrin. We rarely see a healthy looking
scorpion. We find dead ones and sluggish dying ones. It kills other
bugs too, including spiders which are prey/food for the scorpions.
Cypermethrin wetable powder in water has no bad smell, lasts a very long
time under the baseboards. I don't know if there is a half life for the
treatrment as our scorpions are dying and the treatment was done years ago.
Various indoor and outdoor enclosures can end up as hotels for bugs.
Spray with Cypermethrin and no more bugs. When dry no volatility, the
powder just waits patiently for bugs to get some on them.

Future proofing I oversized the bushing so I could upsize to the next

or maybe some type of caulking or ???
My question is, as I have a mix of Times LMR-400 and LMR-600, and 600UF,
are all these sealing products safe to use with these types of coax?
I'm worried about the chemicals in the sealant or reactions from the
foaming compromising or attacking the jacket, or worse.
Anyone have knowledge on this? Or good/bad experiences??
