Ok ... so discovering this myself I’m posting it here so if someone else needs
it and does a search they might find it here...
There are 270 teeth on this ring. The setup was down inside – in air
conditioning.
Green Heron Control box RT21 set up for 24VDC.
The pot is 500ohm... centered on 250 ohms.
- the low side, -135 tooth count in one direction so 180° is 58ohms.
- the high side, +135 tooth count is 442 ohms.
That leaves roughly about 62° before ‘damage’ so a good bit of leeway assuming
properly set up this way.
The GH is easy to calibrate in the house using a DC supply and an ohmmeter.
Dead nuts on 000.1 when done at the center point.
