All:I use a 33 ft. fiberglass pole to support an end-fed half-wave dipole which I use for portable work. The problem I'm having is that the pole bends considerably under the weight of the 66 foot 14 gauge wire. I'd like to go with 28 gauge or smaller wire that can handle up to 20 watts and hold up well in the field and was wondering what the group recommends. Thanks, Tony _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
