Jim is correct.   Years ago when I had Beverage antennas up for low band
work, I found them quite effective on 20M for cutting higher angle stateside
QRM.

Before I had aluminum for 20-10, I used my NE Beverage a lot on 20M to hear
EU stations, and I regularly use them on 40 and 30M.
