    GM Steve and All

Not sure if I should be posting this, but I felt it deserves it.   I just finished

the book Up the Tower.  Wow what a wealth of information.  I put my

first tower up Nov 1979.  Four towers later and odd jobs on a couple

others, make me say I really enjoy it.   Thing is I certainly wish I had this

book way back in the beginning.  I always worked alone or with a

relative/neighbor  so had to learn on my own.  After almost 40 years

I still enjoy it and today I will again be on one of my towers for a simple job.

Even after 40 years I discovered some real flaws in the usual way I did

certain things.  By the way I am 71 and still in good enough shape to climb.

Tho I can only spend about 3 hours at a time on tower now.  I hope I have

several  more years left to enjoy this.

What else can I say this  book needs to be read by anyone thinking

        of putting up a tower.
