Grant,

A ham buddy about a hour from me has a problem with the standard rotor plug being to big and when he cranks the tower down he is concerned that the plug will hit the top frame of the lower section.

I suggest he look for a 90 deg plug but I'm not sure after reading your post and looking at the Nanoboshi web site if there is a animal.  Have you seen a 90Deg Yaesu 2800 connector, I think that is his model number.

Later today I might give Advanced a call.

Thanks for any idea's or input you can provide.

For the poster asking about Yaesu connector pins:

The connectors for my Yaesu G-1000 are Nanoboshi

NJC-207-PF 7 pin female plug fits the rotator (I have extras to make a short bench test cable)

NJC-207-ADM 7 pin male adapter (if you want to make an extension cable)

Last purchased 5/13 from Advanced Technology Products, 937 349 4055

I replace the mystery keyed Molex on the back of the control with a Jones 6 pin.

If you ever have to fix your Yaesu controller, trash it and buy a Green Heron.
