That's interesting. DXE did not have the 11 foot version available last
spring when I rebuilt my antenna system. I ordered the 10 ft. Rohn mast
from Texas Towers, which was adequate for my needs. It also shipped with
the tower, so added little to shipping cost.

DX Engineering has several high quality masts.
11 feet and 22 feet long - Chrome-moly - hot dipped galvanized - pretty low

Rob:
I ordered my mast from Special Metals, Inc., Joe Varva (1-800-727-7177).
This was back in 2001 so Joe may no longer work there but it's worth a try. My
mast arrived within a week of my order, IIRC.

Bob,
Are you putting the rotator in the tower with a thrust bearing or sleeve?

Subject: [TowerTalk] Masting source
Hi All -
Could someone point me to a source for antenna mast? It needs to be
strong enough for my A4S and 10-element 2m beam. I was thinking 10'
in height, is that too much? I've not had an actual bell rotor atop a tower
before.
Everything prior has been TV rotors on masts.
Thanks!
