Just a question - but why Moxon 30m and not just 2-el? Moxon advantage on
40m is the improvement of performance bandwidth compared to "typical" design
with shortened 40m elements. 30m band is only 50 khz wide, which can be
nicely covered even with shortened elements.

There are a lot of us thinking “wow, I’d love to have an XM240” about now. But…
I would take a really good look at turning it into a Moxon for 30m. No traps
needed, just some extensions a right angle.
I don’t believe that the right angle is magical, so you might be able to attach
wires to the ends and have them travel back towards the boom attachments.
I know that Dave, W6NL converted his 240 to a 40m Moxon, no reason that it
wouldn’t also work shortened for 30 meters.
