The FCC ULS only goes back to licenses that were current in about 1998, when
the Amateur licenses were moved into it. License records before that are no
longer accessible via computers--they require manual research by the FCC.
But paper callbooks DO have those records. Robert Hajek, Sr. was the original
(and likely only) holder of KN9LTN, receiving it in early 1958. His first
listing was the Summer 58 book. By the Winter 58-59 book he had upgraded and is
listed as K9LTN. But books prior to Fall 67 don't include license class, so all
we know is that he was a General in Fall 67. His upgrade to Advanced first
shows up in the Spring 1970 book. And obviously that continued until he became
an SK.
